




HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, INDORE (INC-1997)
On March 25th, 1992, on the feast of the Annunciation the Foundation for the province of Divine Providence was laid.
NIRMALA CONVENT, RAJKOT (1984)
On April 1st 1985 was the official takeover of the Nirmala Convent school from the Christ Jesus Sisters. A simple school turned into a leading educational institution in the city of Rajkot, Gujrat.





ST RAPHAEL’S CONVENT INDORE(1936)
Built in 1951, St Raphael’s convent became the first SSpS convent in India after 18 years of sisters’ arrival. This functioned as the Regional House.
HARSH VIHAR, ALIRAJPUR (1993)
Responding ot the needs of the time the sisters enthusiastically branched out from Indore to Jhabua district, M.P., to the Bhils and Bhilalas, Hindus and Muslims in 1937.
ST. MARY’S CONVENT, KHANDWA(1940)
Joining hands with the SVD, the SSpS moved in to the Nimard on 1st April, 1940. The pioneers to this mission area were Srs Frederica, Juvata, and Anfreda.
The sisters focused on social and economic uplift of dalits who were landless labourers.
Rashmi Bhawan –a home for the orphans was opened.

PASTORAL MINISTRY
Founder St Arnold believed in the powerful access the women have over other women and families. Imbued by his vision we take up pastoral ministry as our primary task.

1970s the town of Khandwa witnessed many professional beggars who are illiterate moving from door to door. A response to the help the professional beggars Asha Graha was opened.

SANTA MARIA CONVENT , SIRPUR(1950)
On 25th January, 1950 the SVD’s handed the newly built convent to the SSPs. The pioneers SSpS were Sr. Fridburgis Scheuermann, Sr Lippolda Lacher and Sr. Regulinda Maria Clement.
PAVITRA ATMA ASHRAM , AULIA (1964)
The SSpS opened the third mission station in Aulia, a Harijan village in the South West of Khandwa, M.P., on 1st March, 1963. The pioneers were Sr Antonilda Bielzer and Sr Francis Mary Elanjikal.
MISSION FOCUS – catechetical instructions, health care and education.

Health Ministry – St Luke’s Hospital for leper patients. Sr Christobaldis the brain behind the project and Sr Elsy Kochappan joined hands in the leprosy eradication campaign.
NIRMAL DHAM
Began in 1976 as a branch community to support the leprosy pateints. The pioneers were Sr Elsy Kochappan and Sr Cecil Mathew.
SHANTI NIVAS CONVENT, DHARAMPURI (1986)
The mission in SHANTI NIVAS, DHARAMPURI began on 24th June, 1987, in a small Harijan and Adivasi village with the aim of opting for the poor and dialogue of life and mission.






HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, NEW DELHI (1996)
A transit house with educational facilities started in 1996, in the capital of India.
PAVITRA ATMA NIVAS, BADI DHAMINI (1996)
At the request of Bishop. Rev. Joseph Pathalil, Bishop of Udaipur, the SSpS ventured into Badi Dhamini, on 2000, a tribal area then belonged to the diocese of Jhabua.









HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, GOEKA (2004)
In 2003 His Grace Rev. Joseph Pathalil the Bishop of Udaipur Diocese invited the SSpS to the diocese of Udaipur.
HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, KHANDWA (2004)
Holy Spirit Convent, the fifth mission community in the diocese Khandwa was opened in 2003.






DEEPALAYA CONVENT, BICHOLI INDORE (2014)
Deepalaya convent, the sixteenth mission house was opened in Bicholi Mardana, Indore, M.P. in 2014.
HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT, PUNJAB (2017)
On 2nd September, 2017 the SSpS ventured into the state of Punjab. His Grace Bishop Franco Mulakkal, Bishop of Jalandhar invited the SSpS to work in the Diocese.
HOLY SPIRIT CONVENT , BHOPAL (1996)
It was a remarkable day, the 8 June, 2022 for the new community members in Jhadol mission, as on this day the pioneering members – Sr. Suman Minj the Community leader, Sr. Ashrita Dung Dung, Sr. Brigit John and Sr. Rekha Damor along with Sr. Manju Lakra SSpS- the Provincial Leader, Sr. Mary Stella – the Province Admonitor, Sr. Winnie D’costa- the Provincial Treasurer arrived in Jhadol to begin the new mission. The SVD community extended a warm welcome followed by meal and a brief orientation to Jhadol mission by Fr. Sagar Babu SVD.
